Steps and timeframes

STEP 1: Applying  

Complete and submit the application form.  

Applications close at 5pm on the 30 April 2026.  Submissions after this date will not be accepted.  

 

Open for 3 months till 30 April 2026 

STEP 2: Eligibility Check 

The Aboriginal Investment NT Grants Team will check if your organisation meets the eligibility criteria.  

 

 

1 month 

May-June 

STEP 3: Assessment of the Application 
We will assess your application against the criteria listed above. 

 

2 months 

June - July 

STEP 4: Decision  
Assessment outcomes and recommendations are provided to the delegate, the Aboriginal Investment NT Board. 

The Board’s decision is final, including any conditions or the amount of funding approved. 

 

1 month 

July-August 

STEP 5: Outcome Notification and Grant Agreement 

Once decision has been made, we will notify you of the outcome. successful applicants will be sent a Funding Agreement to sign.
